Impermanence Series

These works explore the ephemeral nature of organic subjects as they travel from the lovely to the imperfect. Akin to the process of my own body’s aging, I’m visually seeking here to embrace the beauty in decline. While depicting objects sinking, suffocating, smoldering and shrinking, this collection invites the viewer to appreciate the lure of color and shape in the midst of disorder. Ultimately these photographs reflect on the passage of time in all of it’s quiet splendor.
