Nostalgia Series

Continuing the theme of imperfection, this series reflects on the elusive nature of memories, the subtle divide between what is real and our perceptions. The disjointed and offset nature of these entwined images represent this divide. Remembering the times when my mother and I used to knit and needlepoint together, I was drawn to the idea of weaving a photograph in homage. These images allude to memories of my past, however imperfect or blurred…the beauty lives in the nostalgia.
